5 Reasons You Should Go Outside At Least 1 Hour Everyday

Being outside is my absolute favorite part of the day. I usually start my day by going on a morning walk with my dog, take frequent outdoor walks during the day and then always after work.


If you follow me on Instagram, its obvious I spend most of my free time outside which is exactly why I am sharing why I’m obsessed with catching all the fresh air.


1.) Being Outside First Thing In The Morning Sets Me Up For Success!

When I begin the day by rolling out of bed, brushing my teeth, getting some shoes on and heading outside, I know my day is set up for success! Something about getting fresh air and starting the day by connecting with the outside world makes me feel relaxed and ready to take on the day.


2.) My Focus Is 10X better

When I go outside and allow myself to just reset for a while, I am WAY more productive! To me, being productive does not equal being able to sit at my desk and working for 8 hours straight. In fact, I find time blocking an incredible way to get more done in less time!


3.) I get way more creative!

When I get outside, I become a creative maniac! I get all of my incredible ideas by going out and reconnecting with the world. It can be so easy to get stuck in our little bubble that we forget how much more of an impact we can make in the world when we connect with others.


4.) It’s a great way to get exercise

Want an inexpensive and fun way to move your body and break a sweat? Well, grab your shoes and go! Anything from a sweaty run to a leisurely walk or stretching in the park--its free, its fun, relaxing and really rewarding!


5.) Its a stress free activity

Being outside is one of the most effective ways to release stress. Let go of your day and take a moment to just be present and listen to all of the things around you. I use my time outside as a time to really let go and enjoy!
