I’m JESS AND!
I am so happy to have you here!
My name is Jess--I live with my puppy dog, Alma, and if I could have one really cool talent I would be an epic street dancer. I love all things outdoors, mountains and I am a self admitted fashionable wanna-be, health and wellness nerd, and clean beauty product obsessed kind of girl.
Most of all I am a 24 year old with a big dream. My dream is to inspire and support you on your journey to becoming successful in navigating University, beginning your career, having rocking relationships and just being here for life in general! I believe sharing my experiences and giving you the insider tips and tricks that I have picked up throughout college and my early 20’s is a huge service to all you gorgeous ladies along with lending an ear and working through some of your unique challenges one-on-one.
It was 2012 and having just turned 18 and being a week away from graduating high school, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Having to grow up quick in that very second, I automatically felt scared to step out of my comfort zone and away from my family.
Determined not to let my life stop entirely I went off to SoCal for freshman year of college, despite not wanting to. I basically remember the year as a not so graceful face plant into sadness, health issues and a complete lack of knowing how to be myself with so much going on back home.
So I packed up my little dorm room and moved on home as fast as I could to support my family-- especially my mom-- and figure out my health issues, which had skyrocketed.
Fast forward 6 years and I had adopted my cute pup, Alma, graduated from Chico State, enrolled in the Integrative Institute of Nutrition, been diagnosed with Lymes Disease, grieved the passing of my mom and started my first big girl job. Phew, sounds like a lot of stuff!
Throughout all of the constant change, heartbreak and celebration I was able to accomplish something more valuable than I could have imagined. I had been able to look back on the hardest years of my life so far and feel proud of myself for overcoming such obstacles. That feeling of strength in myself and my ability to face my biggest fears and bust through what could have blocked me from being successful is the gift I want to keep on giving to as many of you gorgeous and capable people as I possibly can. Are you ready to become your biggest inspiration?
